Call for panellists for the 3rd Intersessional Consultation of the UN Ad Hoc Committee

At its session on organizational matters, on 24 February 2022, the Ad Hoc Committee, recalling paragraph 9 of General Assembly resolution 75/282 of 26 May

2021, decided to approve the participation of the other relevant non-governmental

organizations in the Ad Hoc Committee.

In relation to the work of the Ad Hoc Committee to Elaborate a Comprehensive International Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technologies for Criminal Purposes, the third intersessional consultation with multi-stakeholders will be held in Vienna on 3 and 4 November 2022.

Doctor/PhD members of the Institute who are interested in serving as a panellist in one of the thematic panels of the third intersessional consultation are invited to express interest (info@institut.uk)

The application period will be open until close of business of Thursday, 1 October 2022. Requests will be taken into account based on geographical and gender balance and information will be provided to the selected panellists in due course.

For more information on the mandates relating to the intersessional consultations and modalities of the participation of multi-stakeholders in the Committee, reference is made to paragraph 10 of resolution 75/282, the “Road map and mode of work for the Ad Hoc Committee”, approved by the Ad Hoc Committee at its first session, and paragraph 4 of the “Modalities of the participation of multi-stakeholders in the Ad Hoc Committee” on the organization of intersessional consultations.
