Environmental Remote Sensing applications.

Hyperspectral, thermal hyperspectral and Lidar data processing; drone images analysis-

Geospatial Applications; in Agriculture, Forestry and wetlands.

· Biodiversity and species mapping

· Alien species discrimination and mapping

· Biomass estimation and carbon stock assessment,

· Classification and mapping of landscape

· Wetlands studies related to water, aquatic vegetation mapping.

· Precision agriculture using Drones acquired images

· Solid Waste management

Dr. Pandey has more than 7 years of teaching and research experience in the field of remote sensing and environment. He obtained his PhD in Remote sensing technology from University of Leicester, United Kingdom with prestigious international award- commonwealth fellowship. He obtained his M.Tech (Remote Sensing) & M.Sc (Environmental Sciences) and bagged gold medallist awards. Currently He is serving as assistant Professor in Shiv Nadar University India. Earlier, he was awarded with Tel Aviv University Israel University awards for Post-Doctoral Scientist, and DST Government of India for Post-doctoral fellow. He has been recipient of several international and national awards as a feather in his cap. He is life member of ISRS, SPIE, AAG, Indian Society of Geomatics, Wetlands society, CEM IUCN, and Commonwealth Alumni Association United Kingdom.
