From January 2024, passing the Membership Exam will be a requirement for an application to Membership and a part of the requirements for participation in events.
The online remote or in-person exams are intended to test a candidate's knowledge and understanding of the scientific basis of public diplomacy.
Opportunity to demonstrate a core knowledge of public diplomacy at a level expected of a public diplomacy practitioner.
Success in the exam leads to election into Doctor/PhD or Professional Membership.

Following a review of the costs associated with delivering Membership examinations, the Institute is increasing examination fees from 01 January 2024 for in-person examinations only.

(*Free for applicants from least developed countries).

Just submit an Expression of Interest form at least 10 days before the exam date to register your interest.
