Educational Qualifications:

Pursuing PhD in Sociology, Indira Gandhi National Open University Regularmode, New Delhi

First class Master’s Degree in Arts, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi

First class and Gold medal holder in Post Graduate diploma in Agribusiness Management, NIAM , Jaipur.

First class Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Gobind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology.

PhD Research area and interest: At present pursuing Ph. D Sociology, under the supervision of Dr. Kiranmayi Bhushi at the School of Social Sciences IGNOU, Joined in 2018. The designed title of the Ph. D is ‘Teacher’s Agency in school system in India: An ethnographic study of the of Govt. Girls Intercollege.’

Interests: Sociology of education, Interested in exploring the practical aspects of various sociological theories and conceptualise and understand social phenomenon through sociological lens.

Research Experience and Internships:

with LS Premium Farm Fresh Produce Limited, New Delhi, 2011.

Project title: “Analyzing the present carbon emission scenario and the scope of implementation of carbon Mitigation activities in wholesale markets”, involved six months of field work in various parts of the country.
