The Radicalisation Awareness Network is an umbrella network connecting people involved in preventing radicalisation and violent extremism throughout Europe.
Within RAN, first-line practitioners from different European countries can meet others in their area of expertise to exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences on countering radicalisation and violent extremism.
RAN organised 27 training sessions around Europe for civil society organisations.
Each session covered the skills and knowledge needed to develop online counter and alternative narrative campaigns.
The consortium dealing with RAN, financed by the European Commission, takes care of logistics, technical and administrative support.
