Statement on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II

We mourn profoundly the passing of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

She was more than a monarch.

In some ways, the Queen can be seen as a nation’s greatest public diplomat and her legacy will loom large in the history of public diplomacy.

We know her loss will be deeply felt by all people around the world.
