Why should I join the Institute?

INSTITUT DE DIPLOMATIE PUBLIQUE / INSTITUTO DE DIPLOMACIA PUBLICA is an independent organisation that acts as a platform for collaboration in the field of public diplomacy with a particular focus on countries with limited economic resources.

Our core purpose is to advance public diplomacy, by bringing academics at all stages of their career together from across the world to share ideas, publish research and grow networks.

Joining Institut de diplomatie publique says you are an engaged professional and demonstrates a commitment to your career development.

It connects you to a wider community of like-minded professionals and opens up opportunities that will broaden, support and encourage your professional interests and development.

The Platform ( https://www.publicdiplomacy.online/ } is a service of the Institut de diplomatie publique, transformed from the earlier social media network. Since the Platform was formed in 2012, we have grown in size and influence.

Currently, we are a collective project supported by over 300 scientists (Doctor/Ph.D. members of the Institute), 500 experts and professionals (Professional members), 900 observers.

Despite the fact that the Institute is legally incorporated in the UK, for many members and website users, English is not a first language, so we created a space where scientists can talk about science in an inclusive way that does not exclude non-English speakers.

Our response to the increasing cultural and lingual diversity in the Institute is our zero-tolerance approach against any kind of linguistic discrimination. This platform was founded with the mission to break down language barriers and create a united space by making it accessible to individuals whose cultural background does not include the English language.

What we do?
