EVENTS

To deliver our mission INSTITUT DE DIPLOMATIE PUBLIQUE as a non-state actor in diplomacy facilitates and promotes the contribution of stakeholders from different sectors at the global level, including at the IMF and World Bank Group special events.

Stakeholder engagement is conducted in a gender-responsive, culturally sensitive, non-discriminatory and inclusive manner, ensuring that potentially affected vulnerable and marginalized groups are identified and provided opportunities to participate where conditions for inclusive participation are unfavorable.
We provide an inclusive and accessible space for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience so that the voices of our experts can be heard in the IMF and World Bank Group.
For this purpose, the Institute regularly receives special accreditations for conferences, summits, meetings, or other events organized by the IMF and World Bank Group.
Doctor/Ph.D. Members and Professional Members of the Institute are invited to indicate their interest to participate in the events.
We will heighten our collaboration at the global and national levels with the IMF and World Bank Group. Our intention is to accelerate our reach and ability to advance responsible public diplomacy practices around the world.

The Institute participates in Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund

October 2023, O. Weretelnik (PhD) participates in the 2023 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) in Marrakech, Morocco, as a member of the delegation from Institut de diplomatie publique.

The Annual Meetings serve as a platform for finance ministers, agency heads, central bank representatives, NGOs, and academics from around the world to convene and discuss global concerns.

Key topics include the world economic outlook, development, and responses to climate change.

The meetings focus on fostering balanced, resilient, and inclusive global economic growth; controlling inflation and maintaining price stability; promoting transformative reforms to tackle global economic challenges; eradicating poverty; and responding effectively to climate change.
